Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam; special guest to our Annual Bright House Networks Strawberry Picking Challenge in February, spent his day in Tallahassee with over 2,000 more agriculture volunteers to read to classrooms in order to share the importance of agriculture.
This Agriculture Literacy Day, with over 3,600 elementary school classrooms and 2,000 volunteers, over 72,000 Florida children were reached to share the message.
Food just doesn’t appear in your grocery stores without the hardworking men and women who work endlessly to put it there!
Thank you to our Farmers for feeding America!
