Studies show that blackberries have one of the highest antioxidant contents per serving, allowing them to fight off aging cells and cancer cells. Due to blackberry’s high content of Anthocyanin, age-related diseases like Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia; as well as cancers affecting the GI tract like colon cancer can be prevented due to the health benefits presented by blackberries.
