In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, healthcare workers such as doctors, nurses and paramedics are placing themselves in danger each and everyday in order to keep the public safe. We only felt it was right to give back to some of our local health heroes at Hillsborough County Fire Rescue and St. Petersburg Rescue.
In order to limit the amount of first responders exposed to the virus, St. Petersburg Fire has created a specialty unit that only responds coronavirus calls and emergencies. They treat the covid-19 positive patients and transport to the hospitals for further care.
Now, more than ever, it is important that we fuel our bodies with healthy food. Especially those on the front lines.We sure do hope these hungry firemen enjoy their fresh from Florida berries!
