In need of a festive treat for your holiday party? Look no further than these Strawberry Christmas lights! This recipe can be made using candy melts or melting chocolate, making it a beginner-friendly, simple, and adorable treat option.
Ingredients
- Red, blue, yellow, and green candy melts OR red, blue, yellow, and green oil based food coloring and white melting chocolate
- White sugar sprinkles
- 12 Wish Farms strawberries, rinsed and patted dry
- 12 Rolo candies or mini peanut butter cups
- Green licorice or rope candy

Directions
Melting Candy Melts
- In 4 separate bowls, microwave colored candy melts on the defrost setting or on a low power setting for one minute. Remove from microwave and stir. If wafers are not yet melted, place in microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Candy melts should be fully melted before dipping strawberries.
Melting White Melting Chocolate
- In 4 separate bowls, melt chocolate according to package instructions.
- Color each of the bowls using oil-based food coloring.
Dipping Berries
- Remove leaves from all strawberries.
- Insert a toothpick into the center of top of strawberries.
- Holding toothpick, dip each berry into chocolate, then shake berries gently to remove excess.
- Gently sprinkle white sugar sprinkles onto berries.
- Place berries on parchment paper to harden.
- Arrange green licorice or rope candy on a plate to resemble Christmas light wires.
- Remove toothpicks from strawberries, and using melted chocolate, attach one Rolo or peanut butter cup to top of each strawberry to resemble Christmas lights.
- Arrange finished strawberries on plate.
- Serve immediately.
