Simmons Farms - Wish Farms

Simmons Farms is a classic family farm. Owned and operated by Billy Simmons, he and his two children, Shad and Casey Simmons, work together to keep the farm humming. In fact, the entire family is active in the local agriculture community.

Community & Charity:

Billy and his son Shad both served as Past President of the Florida Strawberry Growers Association (FSGA). They also actively involved in the setup of the association’s display at the annual Florida Strawberry Festival. Billy’s daughter Casey was a member of the Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association Emerging Leaders Development Program Class 5. The entire Simmons Family is very active at the First Baptist Church of Plant City.

Hobbies:

When the Simmons Family is not growing fruits and vegetables, they like to vacation in Hernando Beach. They are often found on the water fishing, swimming or scalloping. Billy and his wife Carol also enjoy riding horses in their spare time.
