We are seeking a proactive and hands-on IT Support Manager to supervise and coordinate the daily operations of our IT support team. This position oversees the IT department while also diving into the day-to-day as a technical resource for end-user support, hardware/software troubleshooting, and escalated issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership experience, and a passion for delivering excellent internal customer service to help continue growing our business. This position is on-site at our headquarters in Plant City, FL.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Provide daily leadership, supervision, and support to the IT Help Desk Technician and Support Specialist, ensuring consistent, high-quality support across all company locations.
- Develop, mentor, and coach direct reports to foster professional growth, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex or unresolved IT issues beyond Level 1/2 support, driving timely and effective solutions.
- Oversee and prioritize IT support requests to deliver responsive, customer-focused service and minimize downtime.
- Track help desk performance through key metrics and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, user satisfaction, and service delivery.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive IT support documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles to strengthen team capabilities.
- Partner with cross-functional departments to ensure technology solutions are optimized to support business processes and add measurable value to the organization.
- Assist in managing IT asset inventory, procurement processes, and vendor relationships to ensure accurate tracking and timely equipment availability.
- Ensure strict adherence to security protocols, software licensing agreements, and company IT policies to safeguard data and maintain system integrity.
- Actively participate in IT system upgrades, deployments, and strategic projects that enhance the company’s technology infrastructure.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Wish Farms’ core values of quality, integrity, and responsiveness in all aspects of the role.
- Support additional IT and business-related tasks as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on IT support experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, and common business applications.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, endpoint security, remote desktop infrastructure, and backup strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work across all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience with managing direct reports.
- CompTIA (Server+, Network+, etc) or relevant Microsoft certifications a plus
- Previous experience in the following software/hardware a plus:
- Managing infrastructure in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Network administration (including VLAN segmentation)
- Automation scripting via PowerShell
- Experience in working in the agricultural/fresh produce and/or warehouse sector a plus.
