G&D Farms is the largest contiguous strawberry production in North America, with 2,100 acres under management, and 800 acres of planted strawberries and pineberries – 150 of which is organic. From the north side of the property to the southern tip, the land stretches four miles. The Duette location is Wish Farms’ flagship growing operation that began in 1987.
We have a career opportunity available for a talented and motivated individual to join our team in Duette, Florida as a Shipping Clerk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Famous software to accurately ship and receive fresh berry inventory into our onsite coolers
- Scan and issue materials to growers using iPad
- Provide information about inbound product to QC department and shipping department as needed
- Ensure a safe and organized shipping dock area and cooler, identify safety hazards and maintain flow of traffic
- Keep track of multiple growers and varieties to ensure accuracy of inventory
- Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with growers and farm representatives
- Maintain organic integrity in the warehouse and shipping procedures
- Evening and weekend shifts will be required in season
- Work outside in Florida weather and occasionally in a cooler environment (34 degrees) for short periods of time
- Other related tasks as requested by management

Qualifications- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Positive attitude aligned with the Wish Farms culture
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Previous experience as a shipping clerk, warehouse associate, or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with shipping and inventory management systems is plus
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in using warehouse management software and basic computer applications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers, carriers, and team members
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages, stand for extended periods, and work in varying warehouse conditions
- Forklift Certified or willing/able to obtain certification for backup purposes
- Willing to learn and grow
- A passion for agriculture
